SCHOLARSHIPS
A percentage of the funds raised during the year is designated for our scholarship program. Scholarships of up to $1,000 are awarded to our college bound high school seniors and first year college students pursuing undergraduate study at an accredited two or four year institution. Each year a contest is held to determine up to 5 scholarship recipients for the upcoming semester.

The scholarships are awarded in two equal payments to the college of the student's acceptance. The first payment is awarded upon announcement of our contest winners. The second payment is awarded for the second semester, after verification of a GPA of 2.5 or higher for the first semester.

Awards criterion:

  • Current participant in the Metropolitan Junior Golf Program.
  • High school senior or first year college student.
  • GPA 3.5 high school or 2.5 GPA 1st semester college student.
  • Complete and submit a scholarship application according to guidelines within.
